Dr. Robert Bertin will be speaking on “Climate Change and its Effect on Plants.” This talk will summarize global temperature trends and examine the factors that have contributed to the changes. It will consider the implications of rising carbon dioxide levels for plant growth and flowering times.
Dr Robert Bertin is emeritus professor of biology at the College of the Holy Cross, where he also teaches courses in Environmental Science, Ecology and Field Botany.
