Founded in 1925, the Northborough Garden Club has been active in the community for 100 years. Our objective is to promote, encourage and foster an active interest in gardening, horticulture, beautification of the home and community, local civic projects and conservation.
We have over 40 active members who all share a love for all aspects of horticulture.
Our club meets monthly except for January, July, and August. Most regular meetings are held at the Northborough Historical Society. (Parking is available in the lot behind the building. Every year, our program committee puts together a wide array of speakers and workshops. These events bring in subject matter experts to help us expand our horticultural knowledge. Visit our calendar page for a complete list of upcoming events.
Do you want to help beautify our town? We participate in town beautification projects throughout Northborough, such as planting and maintaining our Memorial Garden on Main Street.
Is your passion growing and dividing perennials? The success of our annual plant sale held the first weekend in June allows us to give back to the schools in form of a college scholarship and donations to local schools.
Maybe floral design is your niche? Members participate in "Art in Bloom" held in Northborough on AppleFest weekend.
These are just some of the ways we participate in and promote gardening and horticulture.
Stop by one of our meetings and find out more or contact us.
